A fixed window does not open as it is fixed on all sides. It is ideal for areas which do not require ventilation but need high acoustic and thermal comfort.
It opens in an inward or outward direction as per the window type. It is suitable for bedroom, living room & kitchen as they can open fully to allow maximum air flow
French windows are a pair of casement windows placed on the outside wall and reaching the floor. They typically open on to a garden or balcony while functioning as both windows and doors.
Awning windows are hinged on the top and open outwards from the bottom. These windows provide excellent ventilation and reduce water ingress even when they are open.
