How strong is 12 mm toughened glass?

Is toughened glass expensive?
When a normal glass undergoes a tempering process, the glass is heated at 750C to attain higher impact and temperature resistance. This tempering process will attract about 30 to 40 percent higher cost.
Does toughened glass scratch easily?
Toughened glass makes annealed glass stronger. But when it is scratched intentionally with a sharp material, it can cause scratch marks.
