The architecture of Callisto makes a bold statement with its iconic dome design, inspired by the visionary Buckminster Fuller geodesic domes. These spherical forms, crafted from metal lattices of interlocking triangles that expand into hexagons and pentagons, celebrate an innovative architectural expression.
The domes are part of a carefully orchestrated arrival sequence. By aligning the building along a thoughtful axis, the architects designed how guests approach and experience the space.
The façade unfolds gradually as visitors move through angular walkways and lushly planted courtyards that heighten anticipation, culminating in a dramatic yet welcoming entrance.

The larger dome, measuring 50 feet in diameter and 35 feet in height, is clad in insulated canvas with double-glazed glass units to minimise solar heat gain and improve energy- efficiency. The smaller dome, 38 feet wide and 23 feet high, benefits from the self-shading effect of the larger structure—an intelligent example of passive cooling in architecture.
Located in Udaipur's commercial district, the restaurant balances openness and seclusion. Here, the architects integrated one-way reflective glass to ensure both privacy and acoustic comfort.
During the day, the glazing serves as a protective envelope, offering guests a serene escape from the city’s bustle while providing natural daylight to flood the interiors.
