At these events, considerable exchange of knowledge also takes place, and there are a number of fun and interactive sessions, which ensure that networking takes place throughout the event.
While the previous event was held in two cities, and the focus was on discussions on industry developments and interactive sessions, we served up a twist in the GlassIcon event held this February. The format was ‘Turf, Movie, and Meet Events’. While the number of activities was lesser, we had nearly 3x the number of participating firms, and over 4x the number of individuals who participated this year.

This allowed us to engage with our fabricators on a much larger scale than before, and to foster enhanced collaboration as well. And we were right to pivot, as we have received a very promising and positive response from the market. The new activities were accepted, appreciated, and embraced enthusiastically.
We had 115 firms with 315 people participating in the 9 activities that we arranged for our partners. The Turf event brought out the athlete in each participant, where they excitedly squared off in teams to win matches and the tournament. A lot of hidden talents came to the fore, and the atmosphere was as charged as that of a stadium during an India-Pakistan cricket match!

Turf events were held in Delhi, Chennai, Ahmedabad, Kolkata, Mumbai West, and Mumbai north. We also had movie nights in Pune and Bangalore, which the attendees enjoyed thoroughly.
The main meet was conducted on 28th February in Hyderabad, which 40 participants from 20 firms attended. It was a fruitful and successful interaction, where we had technical discussions and shared our latest product ranges and processes. We provided insights into our processes and supply chain, which was highly appreciated.

We had a few activities to help them relax, and then had a grand ceremony to recognize their contributions. These rewards go a long way in boosting our partners’ confidence and make them feel immensely valued. Rewards and recognition are the core focus of such events, as they demonstrate our commitment to our partners.
The active and increased participation of our fabrication partners is a testament to their growing trust in Saint-Gobain, our processes, and quality standards. The GlassIcon Event helps to foster stronger collaboration with our company, and contributes to mutual growth.
